The following hopeful case studies were created by students in Geography 346: Urban and Regional Management and Geography 352: Managing Natural and Social Capital in Spring 2012. I am making them available here because they are worthy of wider dissemination. They have not been copy-edited except for a quick edit by my former Work Opportunity student Melissa Garside, so they remain somewhat ‘diamonds in the rough.’ To access these documents, click on the topics below the picture. I have also included a report I co-authored with Pamela (Shakespeare) Jack, another Work Opportunity student, comparing VIU’s sustainability track record with that of Royal Roads and the University of Northern British Columbia. Pamela did most of the research and writing, and Melissa also edited.
