Pushpins in D2L

I recently attended the D2L Regional Users Forum at the BCIT downtown campus in Vancouver and spent a couple of my sessions with a D2L trainer learning about some of the tips and tricks with D2L and came across a little tidbit that may be a bit of a time-saver.  In the mini-bar of the program there is a feature that allows you to pushpin your most commonly used courses at the top of your list under the Select a Course drop-down menu.

As you can see beside the title of my top two courses the pushpin is orange.  These courses will always stay at the top of my list until I press their pushpin icon again.

This could be especially handy for faculty with a large number of courses, or for department chairs who are listed as associate instructors in a large number of courses but want to have their courses at the top of their list.
