How did I decide what game to play?
I just want to keep making progress, I’m pretty into it and don’t think I’ll play a different game for a while.

Did anything unexpected or noteworthy happen?
The game froze when I pressed the pause button while drifting around a corner.

How do I feel about the game? (before & after)
Before: I feel more interested than ever in going about it more efficiently than in the past, and completing as many side missions as possible.

After: A little disappointed that it froze, but relieved at the same time because that was my cue it’s time to quit. I still feel as enthusiastic as ever to play again and keep making progress.

Why did I stop playing?
I was forced to quit because it froze, but also because I needed some food and had other things to deal with.

I’ve just been feeling like it ever since I played last time.

Before: It’s getting late and I’m a little tired but I just feel like playing for a while. I can think of a few things that I want to accomplish in the game.

After: I’m still enjoying the game as much as ever, if I wasn’t too tired I would keep playing. Playing any game too much is a bad idea though, so it will pay to keep that in mind.

Review

Time played this week: 5 hrs, 28 mins

I’d say in week 2 I enjoyed playing the game as much as in week 1, but I noticed a couple things that were beginning to changed. This week, after investing a few hours in playing, I started recalling the creeping feeling that comes when you can feel you’re spending too much time gaming (but usually don’t want to admit it). A couple times I got the nagging sense that I should be doing something else. The second thing I noticed was that there were a couple times where I began to get frustrated, and when a game is making me annoyed, I pretty much cease to enjoy the experience. Interestingly though, despite getting annoyed and enjoying it less, I don’t want to quit until I at least finish what I was trying to accomplish.
