Course Scheduling

At VIU ABE our online classes are “continuous intake,” this means they are self paced; You are responsible for attending classes and doing your work at your own time. Self governed Time Management is really important for these courses.

We recommend that our students use a “Daily Task Management System” to help organize their days so they can get their work done efficiently. You can read more about this in the article Choose a Daily Task Management System by KPU.

In addition to a Daily Task Management System a “Semester Schedule” can also be really helpful in tracking due dates and other important dates. A “Semester schedule” gives you a big picture view that should help you proactively manage busy periods in your semester. You can read more about it in this article Create a Semester Schedule by KPU.

Downloading the “Course Schedule” from the student record should help you make these tools. Read more on How to Download the Course Schedule from the Student Record.
