A lot of providers have discounts available, attached below are links to the major providers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rogers.com\/mobility\/students\">Rogers Student Plans<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bell.ca\/Bell-Promotions\/offers\">Bell promotions and deals<\/a> (Bell sometimes offers student deals if you visit them in store with a valid study permit and passport)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.telus.com\/en\/deals-and-bundles\">Telus deals and bundles<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.freedommobile.ca\/en-CA\/student\">Freedom student deals<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fido.ca\/promotions\">Fido promotions<\/a> (Fido sometimes offers back to school deals too!)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.koodomobile.com\/en\/rate-plans\">Koodoo plans<\/a> (Koodoo sometimes offers student deals if you visit them in store with a valid study permit and passport)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">viu-secure<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>VIU provides fast on campus WiFi called &#8220;viu-guest&#8221; and &#8220;viu-secure.&#8221; Any enrolled students and employees can access &#8220;viu-secure&#8221; once they set up their <a href=\"https:\/\/ithelp.viu.ca\/TDClient\/169\/ITPortal\/KB\/ArticleDet?ID=10209\">computer account<\/a> using their student number and account password.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For any troubles connecting to &#8220;viu-secure&#8221; please refer to this <a href=\"https:\/\/ithelp.viu.ca\/TDClient\/169\/ITPortal\/KB\/ArticleDet?ID=1570\">IT Help-desk article<\/a> or contact IT services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Public WiFi<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can access the internet using public WiFi aswell.
