We will demonstrate a few different GenAI tools and talk about the possibilities and limitations of each. We will also talk about the role that prompt development plays when using these tools.
The Impact of GenAI on Assessment Creation and Completion
Time: 10:15am-11:15am
You will hear how GenAI has impacted assessment practices at VIU and beyond. This conversation will address how both students and instructors can use GenAI to engage in assessments that ensure students successfully meet learning outcomes.
What are the ethical implications of using GenAI?

We have assembled an expert panel of VIU faculty and staff to talk about privacy principles, data protection strategies, and ways to foster responsible digital citizenship.
