In early May, the CIEL is hosting a series of Roundtable discussions as part of the Teaching and Learning Showcase Series. The first showcase focused on the theme of Community as Pedagogy. Featuring VIU faculty members Dr. Carla Tilley from Nursing, and Sarah Greenway from Resource Management and Protection, we had rich discussions about building community in the classroom, and working with community partners outside the classroom.
