Find Your Teaching Flow: Practices & Tools to Polish Your Course

October 5, 2021 @ 2:30 pm 4:00 pm

For over a year you have been adapting your teaching style in order to continue meeting the learning needs of your students in the face of shifting delivery modes. In this three-part series (sign up for one or all of the sessions!), you will have the opportunity to build on the best of these adaptations and find the teaching flow that works best for you. Each session will also include a basket of tools you can use to polish different elements of your course. This series will appeal to instructors teaching face to face, fully online or somewhere in between.

Session 2: Building and Sustaining Community and Connection
Community is an essential part of learning, but communities and connections do not always naturally occur in our classes. In this session we will explore a variety of ways to build community for your face to face or online courses. Join us to share your community building ideas, to learn new ones, and to foster a reciprocal flow of shared expectations, respect and belonging in your courses.
