June 2, 2022 @ 11:30 am – 12:00 pm
Every summer, VIULearn will permanently delete any courses that are two years or older as a part of our annual Course Cleanup process. The courses removed this year will include those offered in Spring 2020, when many instructors made their first shift to teaching their courses online through VIULearn. In this session, we will be discussing the Course Cleanup process in more detail and showing you how you can export and save a copy of any courses that are two years or older and that may be caught and deleted as part of this Cleanup process.
This online session is aimed at faculty who have used VIULearn for their courses and want to learn how to create an offline backup of their course materials. We will begin the session with a structured walkthrough of how to export your VIULearn course and then provide time for you to work on exporting any courses you want to save with support in the room. If you have a personal computer, external hard drive, or USB key you want to save your files to please have them ready to use during the session.
