This orientation&nbsp;course is self-paced, and will show you how to navigate VIULearn to view content, adjust your settings, &amp; complete activities. <a href=\"https:\/\/ciel.viu.ca\/pages\/viu-learning-technology-orientation-course\" data-type=\"URL\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Follow the steps on this&nbsp;page<\/a> to register for the <strong>VIULearn Student Orientation 2020-2021<\/strong> course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Download the Zoom application<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Your instructors may use <strong>VIUOnline Rooms<\/strong> (powered by Zoom) for class meetings. For the best experience, <a href=\"https:\/\/viu.zoom.us\/download#client_4meeting\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/viu.zoom.us\/download#client_4meeting\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">download the application for your phone, computer and\/or tablet.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How can I access academic support or contact other support departments?&nbsp; <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Visit VIU&#8217;s <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/learningmatters.viu.ca\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/learningmatters.viu.ca\" target=\"_blank\">Learning Matters<\/a> site to access learning resources, and to find contact information for other support areas at VIU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why do I see information about VIU policies instead of my courses when I login to VIULearn?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting in Spring 2021, you will see a terms and conditions page when you login to VIULearn for the first time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You must accept the terms and conditions to access your My Home page &amp; your VIULearn courses.
