Description of Session

This show and share session is the third event in a speaker series designed to advance the use of technology at VIU.  This session will highlight how our own instructors are using VIULearn (powered by D2L) to enhance teaching and learning in face-to-face, blended and online courses. An interdisciplinary group of instructors will begin with 5 minute demonstrations of the various ways they are integrating VIULearn into learning activities, assignments, labs, group work, and more. They will share what they are excited about and why.

The intent of the session is to share what is working well from a grass roots perspective, to spark ideas among ourselves, and to better connect VIULearn users with one another.  The demonstrations will be interactive, with lots of opportunity for Q&A. There will also be computer stations available so that audience members can join the show and share if they wish. This session will benefit anyone ready for a next step using technology or wanting to network with other users to cross pollinate our ideas and experiences.

The session will be video-taped and an archived link to the video will be on this page after the event.
