Students in this course will need to be on campus in Nanaimo for 9:00am on August 15th having completed the online readings/assignments. We will depart for the field that day and will be out of cell/data service through our return to campus onĀ  August 26. There will be a practical canoe exam the afternoon of the 27th followed by a farewell banquet.

Students should be prepared to carpool to the field location and either park their vehicle at the trailhead or arrange to have a friend/family member drop them off. Directions will be made available to registered students. While the location will be in the wilderness, any currently licensed vehicle will be able to access the trailhead.
