In 2007<\/a> and 2010<\/a>, Dr. Lim took students to Tanzania as VIU field schools.\u00a0 [Depending on the speed of your internet connection, it may take a while to load the photo pages; be patient.]<\/p>\n

In 2015<\/a>, Anthropology joined forces with the Culinary Institute of Vancouver Island (CIVI) to offer a field school in Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna, Italy.\u00a0 Students met before departure, which included a trip to Vancouver to learn about gelato making (Bella Gelateria) and to visit Little Italy. A feature of the field school was cooking with Chef Shore (CIVI) and Chef Marcella of Giglio Cooking School<\/a> in Firenze.<\/p>\n
