\nGetting to Know You through Sharing Food<\/h2>\n

One way of getting to know one another better is through the sharing of food.\u00a0 In North America, rather than providing a whole meal, a time and place is determined and everyone attending brings something to eat.\u00a0 This is a potluck dinner or meal; the “host” may provide a main dish or a few more items than the “guests” but generally everyone shares in the dinner’s success.<\/p>\n

Having a potluck in this course allows students to socialize and get to know one another better.\u00a0 During the course, students will have to work with one another in three different assignments.\u00a0 What better way to meet a partner than over food?\u00a0 Since potlucks are so enjoyable, we have them even at the end of the semester!<\/p>\n
