Competitions I’ve been in include the skills competition where I prepared a teriyaki burger and mini brownies with strawberry mint compote and whipped cream.

And the Urchin tank competition, where me, another chef in my class and a couple biology students at VIU created a recipe for, and prepared a fermented canned sweet and spicy seaweed and red pepper jelly. We then served it to 3 seaweed entrepreneurs on a cracker with herb goat cheese. Below is the process, the final product and a picture of my team and I.
