1. Check your computer hardware and connected equipment (like headsets and webcams)

2. Setup your student computer account
- You must have a computer account to access VIULearn, it is not the same as your student record account

3. Test Teams on your computer, tablet, or smartphone

4. Access and orientation to VIULearn

- Go to https://learn.viu.ca and click on “Go to VIULearn” to sign in with your student computer account

5. Check your computer software

- Anti-virus protection for your device
- Office or Word – free for students
- PDF Reader – free
- If your instructor says you need software and you do not have it:
