VIUTube Media Processing Delays

A problem has been identified which was preventing the processing of some flavours for VIUTube media. This problem has been resolved, but it will take some time for the queue of waiting videos to be processed. If you urgently need access to a video that is stuck in processing, please email learnsupport@viu.ca with the video details. Users may not be able to access high definition flavours of some videos until all processing has completed.

VIUTube Analytics Errors

VIUTube users may see internal server errors when trying to access video analytics.

VIUTube Maintenance October 10, 2020

VIUTube will be undergoing maintenance on Saturday, October 10, 2020 from 6:00 am – 9:00 am. During this window users uploading media may experience delays or unexpected errors during upload. Users will not be able to edit, clip, copy, or make any changes to their uploaded media during this maintenance window.

VIULearn – Slow Loading

VIULearn may load slower than usual. Our vendor, D2L, is working to resolve the underlying challenge on their servers.

VIULearn Waitlisted Students Removed From Courses

We are currently investigating an issue that has caused waitlisted students to be removed from their courses in VIULearn. This issue is contained within VIULearn and waitlisted students have not been officially unenrolled from their courses. We are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience.

If you are a waitlisted student and are concerned about your official enrollment, please check your My Course Enrollment History through your Student Record.

VIUBlogs Scheduled Maintenance – Aug 28
