Major VIU IT outage beginning late Friday June 23 till mid-afternoon Monday June 26

The Information Technology (IT) department is upgrading VIU’s core technology infrastructure beginning Friday June 23 at 10:00PM and continuing through Monday June 26 mid-afternoon. All VIU services including the ability to log into VIU computers and email, connect to VIU network resources, connect to VIU’s wireless network, or access any application that requires your VIU computer account such as VIULearn, VIUTube, VIUBlogs, student record system (SRS), financial record system (FRS), VPN, or email will be unavailable. VIULearn Upgrade to Daylight

VIULearn has been updated to the new Daylight experience as of Sunday, April 30 am. Read more about the changes here (paste URL in browser):

Before logging in, please ensure you are using the most up to date version of Google Chrome or Safari. VIULearn will work the best in these browsers. If your internet browser is not the latest version, you can experience challenges accessing the My Home page.

Server Maintenance and Product Advisory
