We are pleased to report that all systems are stable.

VIU IT has scheduled systems maintenance on Thursday October 11 between 7:00 pm and 10:00 pm. This will impact all VIU Techologies, including VIULearn, VIUBlogs, VIUTube, and CIEL websites. VIU Technologies will be unavailable on the Powell River Campus during the maintenance window.

VIU IT will be performing important maintenance on July 5. The VIUBlogs sites (both faculty and student sites) may be inaccessible for up to 30 minutes between 9:30 am and 10:30 am on Thursday, July 5th 2018. Users will not be able to log in or view any VIUBlogs sites until after the maintenance is complete.

IT Services will be updating Windows servers Wednesday, May 9th. All VIU technology (including VIULearn, VIUBlogs, VIUTube, and internet, etc.) will be unavailable for up to 15 minutes between 6:00 am and 7:30 am and again between 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm.

We are aware of a potential challenge with VIUBlogs (wordpress.viu.ca and studentblogs.viu.ca) which may impact access to blogs over the weekend. You may experience issues editing or accessing blogs between 4 pm on Friday and midnight Tuesday, February 13.
