International Internship Experience at Tobacco Caye Marine Station in Belize.
- Assist in the research of invasive lionfish, performing dissections & collecting data
- Writing fact files on marine biodiversity: “Adopt a Reef Friend” Program
- Collect data for Coral Watch research and conservation
- PADI Discover Scuba diving experience
- Advertisement of the 3rd Annual Lionfish Tournament run by TCMS at the end of July 2022 (posters, stickers, social media posts, etc)
- Supervise Gift Shop, attend to customers, collect payments, as well as ensuring its inventory is up to date and organized
- Support/Assist guides during day and night snorkel with student groups
- Prepare snorkelling kits and its clean up afterwards
- Educational outreach with tourists and students
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of classroom/lab
- Create social media posts
- Participate/Assist on the collection, cleaning and sorting of trash accumulated in the “coral graveyard” by Tobacco Caye (an Unesco Heritage protected site)
