This spoken letter is dedicated to the Missing Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. In the letter, I am trying to speak to the MMIWG directly. In the introduction, I talked a little bit about my background and culture. and how the women in my culture are oppressed.

The first picture I used is from an app on an iPhone called Bimoji that makes an avatar of people. The second picture, I used is of Swaty Valley where I am from and I took that from a website and the link will be shared bellow.
The third picture is from recent news from the Pashtuns areas (Mardan) Pakistan where a politician bought school girls shuttlecock burqas to prevent harassment. I used this picture to show how severe oppression is. The fourth picture is again from the App Bimoji. The art of the red dress indigenous girl is taken from Pinterest.

I used this art to show the resistance of the indigenous women as in the art the girl holds a feather which is a symbol of strength, freedom, wisdom, and power. I also took another art from twitter that is specifically for indigenous people. I chose this art because there are a bird and feathers and even though it is for the murder of indigenous women and girls but it gives me hope that they are at peace wherever they are.
