VIUTube Update Complete
We are please to report that yesterday’s challenges with the VIUTube update have been resolved. All systems are now stable. If you have any questions, or if you are seeing anything unexpected in VIUTube, please email learnsupport@viu.ca
VIUTube No Media Showing in My Media
At this time, you may not see any of your media in My Media in VIUTube or through VIULearn. This is a result of a challenge with the recent update which our service vendor, Kaltura, is still working to fix. All embedded media and direct links to media should work as expected.
If you are looking for a specific media file, please send an email to learnsupport@viu.ca with as much detail as possible and we will provide you with a direct link to view your media file or an embed code so you can add that media to your course or website.

VIUTube Performance Issues After July 27 Update
There are some ongoing issues in VIUTube following yesterday’s update. Users may experience some performance issues including media not appearing as expected in My Media. Kaltura engineers are actively working to resolve these issues and will have full services restored as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience.
VIUTube Scheduled Maintenance July 27
VIUTube will undergo routine maintenance on Saturday July 27th between 12:00pm and 10:00pm. During this time VIUTube will be unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience.

VIUTube is now accessible. Videos can be played and shared as normal.

VIUTube Not Accessible
Update: UBC is still working to resolve issues on their servers resulting in VIUTube (http://viuvideos.viu.ca) not loading at this time. Videos which are embedded in VIULearn or on external websites should now play as expected. We apologize for the inconvenience and will provide another update by 9:30 am Wednesday June 19.
VIUTube Unavailable
VIUTube is currently not available due to an outage on UBC’s servers where VIUTube media are stored. At this time there is no ETA for when this problem will be resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience.
