All of our systems are functioning normally.  Hope the Spring semester is off to a great start for you!

All VIU’s learning technology systems are functioning normally.  We hope the fall term treated you well and wish you a relaxing holiday!  Our learning technology support department will be closed from December 24th until January 4th.  We look forward to assisting you again in the new year!

VIU will be performing routine server maintenance on Monday December 21st between 2pm and 4pm.  During this time period, VIULearn, VIUTube, and VIUBlogs may be unavailable.  Please log out of these systems prior to 2pm to avoid any data loss.  We apologize in advance for any inconvenience.

VIU IT will be performing routine server maintenance on November 25th between 6:00-7:00am. You may lose access to VIUTube and VIUBlogs for up to ten minutes during this window.  Please save all work and exit those systems before 6:00am.  We apologize in advance for the inconvenience.

VIU will be performing routine server maintenance on Thursday November 12th between 6:00-7:00 am and 5:00-6:30 pm.  During these windows, you may lose access to VIULearn, VIUTube, and VIUBlogs for up to 15 minutes.  Please save your work prior to these times and log out of the system if possible.  We apologize in advance for the inconvenience.

VIU will be testing its backup power system at 7am on Friday November 6th.  While it is very unlikely that this will have an effect, it could cause a temporary disruption in VIUTube and WordPress between 7am and 8am.  We apologize in advance if this has any impact.

Our service provider reports that they have solved the log in and slowness issues in VIULearn.  Again, we apologize for this disruption at such a busy time in the semester.
