JET Programme

The Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme is a Japanese government sponsored exchange programme that offers university graduates opportunities to work in Japan as either an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) team teaching with a Japanese Teacher of English in elementary and secondary schools or a Coordinator for International Relations (CIR) in selected local government offices in Japan.

Working Holiday Programmes in Japan

The working holiday visa is a special visa for young people between the age of 18 and 30 (25 in case of some countries).  It allows the visa holder to work part time while staying in Japan for up to one year.
