VIUTube: Service Interruption August 4, 4am – 12pm
VIUTube will be undergoing maintenance the morning of August 4, 2018. The VIUTube service will be inaccessible between 4am and 12pm. Users will not be able to view, edit, or add content to VIUTube during this time.

All Campuses – Service Outage July 7
On July 7 between noon and 4 pm, the VIU network will be shut down across all VIU campuses. During this window, there will be no technology services available on campus. VIUBlogs: Service Interruption July 5, 9:30 am – 10:30 am
VIU IT will be performing important maintenance on July 5. The VIUBlogs sites (both faculty and student sites) may be inaccessible for up to 30 minutes between 9:30 am and 10:30 am on Thursday, July 5th 2018. Users will not be able to log in or view any VIUBlogs sites until after the maintenance is complete.

VIUTube: Possible Issue with Logging In June 21
VIU IT will be performing important maintenance on June 21. While this maintenance is happening, users may have difficulty logging in to VIUTube. This will only affect user logins to VIUTube. Media already uploaded to VIUTube and shared on other sites will continue to be available where linked or embedded during this maintenance. Media can still be accessed and uploaded from the VIUTube link inside VIULearn under Faculty Tools. We apologize for any inconvenience.

We are please to announce that the challenge with VIUTube has been resolved. All systems are now stable.
VIUTube Currently Unavailable
We are aware of a challenge which is preventing any access to VIUTube and VIUTube media embedded in other websites (including VIULearn courses). UBC is currently working to resolve the issue on their servers. This notice will be updated as we have more information. We apologize for any inconvenience.
