We are pleased to report that VIULearn, VIUBlogs, and VIUTube systems are stable. Students should now be able to access their Student Record to reset their Student Computer Accounts if necessary.

IT is currently investigating a challenge with Web services on the server isapp.viu.ca and students.viu.ca. This challenge is preventing all students from accessing anything in their student record.

Until this issue is resolved, faculty, staff, and students will not be able to reset their VIU computer accounts. If you are having difficulty logging in to VIULearn, VIUBlogs, or VIUTube, you will need to wait until these services are restored before you will be able to reset your password. There will be a VIU-wide outage beginning at 8:00 am -8:00  pm Sunday, March 3. This outage will affect all VIU network systems including (but not limited to) VIULearn, VIUBlogs, and VIUTube. There will be a VIU-wide outage beginning at 8:00 am Sunday, February 17 and ending 8:00 pm Monday, February 18 . This outage will affect all VIU network systems including (but not limited to) VIULearn, VIUBlogs, and VIUTube. An outage is also planned on Sunday, March 3 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
