This video highlights inequity and Indigenous specific racism in Canadian health care and social services. It focuses primarily on the impact of words and narratives, which have the power to both perpetuate and change the status quo. The opening of the video alludes to the relationship between narratives and implicit bias and closes by emphasizing the power of narrative for positive change. The video is divided into four parts, within each I have done my best to authentically relate the subject matter to my own experience. I captured all the outside video and photographs in various locations throughout the Comox Valley. Anonymous
