On Wednesday, June 7, 2022, CIEL will be changing over to the new ticket management system implemented by the IT department in December. VIU employees and students can continue to request support by emailing email@example.com. However, the automatic email confirmation when you submit a request and the format for replies sent by the CIEL team will look slightly different. Replies from our new system will come from CIEL SERVICES.
While we are in the process of switching to the new system there may be a delay in sending the automatic ticket created emails. If you are replying to or updating an existing support request that was submitted on or before June 1, you may receive an automated “ticket created” email. You can reply to the ticket created confirmation email to add additional information to your request at any time.
