A full listing of anthropology course descriptions can be found in the VIU Calendar.  Dr. Lim also teaches in the Global Studies Program and is a member of the GLST Internship Committee.

In 2007 and 2010, Dr. Lim took students to Tanzania as VIU field schools.  [Depending on the speed of your internet connection, it may take a while to load the photo pages; be patient.]

In 2015, Anthropology joined forces with the Culinary Institute of Vancouver Island (CIVI) to offer a field school in Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna, Italy.  Students met before departure, which included a trip to Vancouver to learn about gelato making (Bella Gelateria) and to visit Little Italy. A feature of the field school was cooking with Chef Shore (CIVI) and Chef Marcella of Giglio Cooking School in Firenze.
