How-To Manuals

This section will include how-to factsheets of important practices and key events in poinsettias production. Each entry should be between 300 and 500 words and could be used as a reference for your (future) assistant grower to use as a guide to complete the task. Be sure to consider and include any safety procedures if they are required in the task.

Seven (7) how-to manuals are required:

1. Receive poinsettia plugs.
2. Pot poinsettia plugs.
3. Pinch poinsettias.
4. Mix fertilizer.
5. Water and/or fertilize poinsettias.
6. Measure poinsettia heights.
7. Package poinsettias for sale.

*We will be learning and practicing these tasks in our face to face classes together. The how-to manuals can be completed as we learn each practice throughout the course.
